We are a little over a week out from the race and things are looking rather
grim. Besides the usual meager pre-reg numbers, more importantly we are
severely lacking in volunteers especially for the Sunday road race (which
is an Oregon Cup and Women's Prestige Series race). We are currently
lacking about 10 flaggers and 7 caravan drivers on Sunday and 7 flaggers on
Saturday. We cannot run a road race safely without appropriate flagging. *If
we cannot get the Sunday flagging spots filled by this Sunday at 12PM we
will need to cancel the Sunday road race. *If you can drive or flag on
Sunday you will get $20 for gas, a lunch, a $10 gift card to Pine Mountain
Sports along with our sincere gratitude as compensation. If a loved one
volunteers you can receive a free entry to the road race or if you yourself
volunteer you can get free entry to the TT and Crit Saturday as well.

Please sign-up if you plan on racing and spread the word of our volunteer
needs to help make this race happen and keep road racing alive in Oregon. I
will send out an email this Sunday with an update and final decision on the
road race.
