Up for sale is Frankenbike, a ~57cm single-speed cross machine with decorated, lugged steel frame, gun metal gray / blue steel Mavic wheels, center double pull Dia Compe brakes for extra large tires/fenders, newish Kenda 30c CX tires, and hose clamps to hold the water bottles on! I even have some ginormous fenders to go on for rainy season as well that I will include with purchase.

Frame has a derailleur hanger and working brifters are included, so could be converted back to multi-geared bike (will need to lengthen chain). The tires were the largest I could put on the wheels, but the frame itself could accommodate wider tires, if that's what you're into. Gearing is 2:1 and rear wheel comes with a 10 speed freehub. These wheels spin up very nice on the road and one of the hubs is a Dura Ace hub.

Heck, I'll even include the Shimano SPD mountain bike clipless pedals seen in the photo!

What is this lovely frame? Someone at the Single Speed Cross World Championship last fall thought perhaps it was a Raleigh from the 1970's and was quite intrigued by it! I'd commute the crap out of this bike, but it's too small for me.
