I'm looking for an XXS cross bike for my wife to try racing this fall. She is 5'3" but what is making it difficult is that she has short legs. We are looking for 42-44cm frame with a standover 710mm or below. Please let me know if you have a bike OR if you have ideas on frames.
Currently we are thinking of trying a 42cm Surly Straggler 650b but there are some issues with this approach as it seems to be more of a touring setup.
