New for 2017 we���re proud to present the North Plains Elephant Garlic Circuit Race. This race is part of the Elephant Garlic Festival hosted by the city of North Plains on Saturday, August 12 and will be the 2017 OBRA Road Race Championships.

The 6.6 mile course features 363 feet of climbing each lap up the fantastic Old Pumpkin Ridge Road with a wide flowing descent down Pumpkin Ridge Road into North Plains, finishing on flat Commercial Street in North Plains. There will be a neutral feed zone for the Senior fields on the ascent of Pumpkin Ridge Drive. Course map and profile: RIDEWITHGPS.COM/ROUTES/21146692

10:30 AM - SENIOR MEN - 12 LAPS - 79.2 MI
10:35 AM - MASTERS MEN (30+, 40+, 50+, 60+ SCORED SEPARATELY) - 8 LAPS - 52.8 MI
10:40 AM - SENIOR WOMEN - 9 LAPS - 59.4 MI

2:30 PM - CAT 3/4/5 MEN (CAT 3 SCORED SEPARATELY) - 7 LAPS - 46.2 MI
2:35 PM - CAT 4/5 WOMEN & MASTERS WOMEN (40+, 50+, 60+ SCORED SEPARATELY) - 6 LAPS - 39.6 MI
2:40 PM - JUNIORS - 3 LAPS - 19.8 MI

More than just racing!

This marks the 20th year of the Elephant Garlic Festival and we're happy to be a part of it. The festival begins on Friday at noon and continues through Sunday evening. There's a host of food and drink options at the festival and music every night. Details about the festival and its full schedule can be found at www.funstinks.com

Pre-registration for the race is $30 for the adult categories and $10 for juniors. You can register at portlandtrophycup.com/north-plains-circuit-race/np

If you wait to register on race day it'll be $40 for the adult categories and $20 for juniors.

Two numbers will be required, one on the left and one on the back.

The race is super easy to get to, from Portland take HWY 26 west to exit 57, Glencoe. Follow the signs for the Garlic Festival, parking will be at Pacific Street. Expect a 25-35 drive from Portland.
