Conditions have conspired to make for just about the best weather that you could ask for. 72 degrees and sunny? Thats like room temperature!

Thanks again to our amazing sponsor Inhabit Portland who are making junior racing free for all of Trophy Cup. We couldnt ask for a better partner and Id love to reward them with more juniors out there.

In case you missed last week's coverage here's a bit of happiness to get you stoked from Max: http://maxmerkle.com/2017/09/25/trophy-cup-2017/

Some great photos (and one photo of the "intricacies" of racing in a skinsuit. https://www.brokenandcoastal.com/journal/team-coastal-at-trophy-cup-race-2

A little mention of the field size in the single speeds, it really is big. We've had the largest single speed race so far this cross season as well as probably the largest beginner women's field I've ever seen. Something for everybody!

If you pre-registered or have a series pass and already have a number, youre good. Just head to the start line of your race. If you pre-registered but dont have a number, stop by registration and theyll get you sorted out. I notice that a couple of you are probably ready to race up in the next category, maybe you should stop at registration and pick up that new number (hint, hint).

Online registration will be open until 3pm the day of the race. Always available for $18 right here: http://www.portlandtrophycup.com/goods/ There are only a few volunteer spots still open so if you're interested, grab em!: http://www.portlandtrophycup.com/volunteer/

Hole shot winner last week? Big check waiting for you at registration this week.

Gladys Bikes and the Cross Curious Club will be hosting a clinic every Tuesday for the series. A big shout out to them for getting a ton of new folks into racing. Info can be found on the site: http://www.portlandtrophycup.com/clinic/

Metropolis Cycles will be at the races each week providing neutral support for all racers. They can do anything you need all while holding your beer while you go register. Let them know that you love them tomorrow.
