‘Luscher Farm Crosstoberfest’

Presented by Lake Oswego Parks & Recreation and Zone 5 Promotions.

*Date* – Saturday October 28th, 2017

*Venue Location* – Luscher Farm in Lake Oswego

*Directions* – 17800 Stafford Road, Lake Oswego, OR

*From Freeways I-5 and I-205*:
Exit I-5 to I-205 Northbound.
Proceed on Stafford Road Exit.
Go North onto Stafford Road towards Lake Oswego
At the round-a-bout stay on Stafford Rd. follow event signs to parking.

*From Portland*:
via Macadam Avenue (Hwy 43)
Take Macadam (South) onto Highway 43
Proceed on Highway 43.
Turn Right onto McVey Avenue
Proceed on McVey as it turns into Stafford Road follow event signs to
parking.

*Parking* – Two parking options (there is no event parking at the farm
house):

1) *Hazelia Field* - 17800 Stafford Road, Lake Oswego, OR

a. This is the main parking lot for the event, with a short walk to the
event hub.

2) *C3 Church* - 17979 SW Stafford Road, Lake Oswego, OR

a. This will be the overflow event lot for the event is directly across
the street from the Hazelia Field.

*Team tents* –

Drop off Friday between 1pm - 6pm at Luscher Farm (no drop off access
Saturday off Rosemont)

Crosstoberfest will take place on the rolling and muddy course of Luscher
Farm.
Explore the Vendor Village at our Oktoberfest Party. Food, drinks/beer,
music and much more!

8:30am - Men 4, Clydesdale, Athena (45 min)

9:25am - Master Men 4 35+, Mast Men 60+ (45 min)

10:15pm - ***Break*** / Course Preview (10 min)

10:25am - Men 5, SS Women (45 min)

11:20am - Master Men 3 35+, Master Men 50+ (45 min)

12:05pm - *Kiddie Kross A & B (15 min) Separate course

12:20pm - ***Break***/ Course Preview (10 min)

12:30pm - Juniors: Cat 3/4/5: Men & Women, 10-18yo (30 min)

1:10pm - Men 2/3, SS Men, Jr. Men 1/2/3 (45 min)

2:00pm - ***Break***/ Course Preview (10 min)

2:10pm - Women: Master 1/2 35+, Cat 3, Master 3 35+, Mast 50+, Cat 4, Cat
5, Jr. Women 1/2/3 (45 min)

3:05pm - Men 1/2, Women 1/2, Master Men 1/2 35+ (60 min)

** Kiddie Kross: A non-competitive event for those 10 and under. Modified
course. This race is FREE. Parent/guardian must sign entry/release form.

*Registration* – Two ways to register:

1) Online Pre-registration: $30 per rider, $15 Juniors (Online
Pre-registration closes Friday October 27th at 5:00 p.m.) LINK -

2) Day of Race: $35/rider, $18/Juniors.

Additional Races: $10 per race.

*Prizes* -

Prizes to the Top 3 finishers in each category.

*Volunteer* -

Race entry will be waived in lieu of volunteer service provided. We need
course marshals and people to help with set-up and tear-down. Contact:

*Membership & Licenses* - OBRA membership required for all riders. Single
day race memberships are available for $5.00. Season OBRA memberships are
available for $20.00.

*Race Numbers* – We will be using OBRA CX numbers.

*Important Notes* –

- Cyclocross rules in effect. Standard Bicycle racing rules apply.
Approved helmets required at all times (including riding to and from
registration, during warm-up, cool down, in your jeans, shorts, slippers)
while at the venue. Failure to comply could result in disqualification.
Course is closed for warm-up until clearance has been given by the chief
judge and/or race director.

· Please do not ride on the gardens or farm fields.

· Please use the provided Port-a-Potties, not the bushes.

injuries that occur at the race. The costs related to those injuries are
the responsibility of the individual participant. Helmets must be worn at
all times while on a bike. Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry for
any reason.
