The power2max Type S power meters are now also available for mountain bikes! We have adapted Type S for the needs of mountain bikes and have developed two models:

Type S MTB for 1x drive trains comes in the popular 104 BCD. By optimizing the position of the chain ring bolts (Sensor Optimized Position) we were able to reduce the weight of the power meter to an amazing 158 grams

The mountain bike version of Type S naturally shares the qualities of other power2max power meters: it is extremely precise, easy to use and robust. You simply start pedaling and your power2max will work. The Type S auto-zeroes every time you coast and has an active temperature compensation mechanism, keeping your data precise at all times. It also doesn���t need a cadence magnet and you can change chain rings without affecting calibration. Together with its great water proofing it makes sure the Type S ���just works���.
