My comment wasn't directed at what promotors should or shouldn't do, more at rider attitudes / expectations. I obviously don't know other aspects of this situation, just adding to the points regarding splitting the fields. If there is a large group of us that are frustrated maybe we need to reconsider what we value, keeping race fees low or advocating for more resources with our wallets. I absolutely love that if you even mention race calendar /entry fee/ prizes on an OBRA thread you get bashed for saying Promotors should shell out more. Reminds me why I went for a gravel ride Saturday instead.

I will have unofficial results posted here by the end of the day. For those of you I did not get to speak with about the race I am sorry for this being a chat posting and not a face to face. Upon completing the 4/5 race I had more than a few concerns about how the race went. To say the least it was by far one of the most dangerous races I have been witness to. I wont get into details but for those of you who were not dangerous I am bummed about the outcome for you but the others in your field that attributed to the day made it tough to be part of. This is just for fun and putting yourselves at risk or others in your group is not something I am ok with. I would suggest reading our rule book and maybe reach out to friends who have been racing for bit to see how you/we can improve upon pack riding.

There will be no official results from the race and I am hoping that we can all learn and grow as racers.
