Following up on the Salsa Mukluk that raised suspicion earlier this month:
Shortly after concerns were raised, Craig Ruby spotted the bike and talked
to the owner. It turned out the bike was not stolen (at least not at that
time). The owner purchased the bike at River City after having saved for 6
months to be able to make the purchase. He had a "new bike day" photo of
himself with the bike (

thrilled to talk about his bike. Unfortunately, Craig saw him yesterday and
learned that the bike was stolen from the Pearl District on Friday the
13th. The owner has filed a police report, and the bike's serial number, as
listed on the River City receipt, is G17050043. Please keep any eye out for
this bike.
