I’ve found that heat shrink tubing works best for re “coating” old u
locks. harbor freight should have something inexpensive that works.

Look into Plastic Dip-rubber coating.

I have an old Kryptonite New York lock that I cut the plastic coating off
20+ years ago and I'm tired of it scratching things now. Any ideas and how
