Looking for Single Speed for SSWC

As a last resort (or first in my case), I'm pretty sure you can get away with zip-tying your derailleur and/or shifters into place (or otherwise immobilize your derailleur in the gear you want),

Hello! I live in Bend and really want to race in the Single Speed World Championships since it's on my doorstep! Unfortunately, I do not own a single speed and can't afford to take on bike #5. Does anybody have a small / medium (I'm 5'7") SS they would let me borrow for the weekend, or is anybody selling the gear to turn my MTB into a SS on the cheap? Let me know! I am happy to "rent" your bike off you for the weekend, and of course will fix any damage that I promise won't happen...

You can find me at meghansexton1996@gmail.com or text: (541)250-6192

P.S. I can provide references of me not being a creepy bike-stealing hooligan, I'm just a po-po college student who wants to drink beers and ride bikes at this crazy event!
