Hey Everyone,
The Columbia Plateau is an awesome race. I have done it myself and
it is a blast. There are very few cycling events that are set up in
a point to point format allowing riders new and unique scenery every
day. This race takes riders from the high desert up to the thick
forests in the Eastern Oregon mountains all conducted on roads with
little to no motor traffic.
This is also a reminder to everyone that this is the first race of
the Oregon Stage Race Series. If you would like a free race entry
into the Mt. Hood Cycling Classic in June come race and win your
respective category and you will get it. For more details on the
Columbia Plateau Stage Race or the series log on at
www.columbiaplateau.org Click on the SR Challenge tab for series
info. Good luck to everyone!
Sincerely,
Chad Sperry

Today is the last day to mail in a paper registration; on-line
registration
is open through Tuesday, May 3. Currently approximately 1/3 of the
entrants
are from BC, 1/3 from Oregon and 1/3 from Washington, with a handful
of
riders from Idaho, Montana and California. We actually have more
registered
riders from BC than from either Oregon or Washington.
