On September 19, 2002, Steve Sehorn, a waiter here in Bend and cousin of NY Giants cornerback Jason Sehorn, was struck by a car and critically injured while riding his bike. Steve is married and a father of three children and a real likeable sort. Unfortunately he has no insurance and his hospital bills are adding up due to the numerous surgeries he has already had, one to remove his teeth from his lungs.
If you feel so inclined, a trust account has been established in his name at the Bank of the Cascades. Any branch will take your contribution. Also, donations will be taken at the Cascade Cyclocross events here in Bend to try to offset his bills.
