And.....you know me....ALWAYS a fan of pre-registration!

Another great idea is come on Saturday and pick up your plate, pre-ride the course, and/or race the short track!

See you up there!

Hey Gang

Series results

https://www.athletepath.com/oregon-xc-mountain-bike-series/2014/standings/club-standings

Thanks to all who attended Mudslinger and this weekend is Bear Springs trap. Camp and do the ST on Saturday and or come for Sunday's event.

Register HERE

Register here and come and Visit Petr who puts this event on and has been doing this longer than me, which makes him ancient, but dont make him mad as he carries a chainsaw on the back of a moto to clear the trails as needed.

Series points

This year we are rewarding more points for besting more riders
1st place has 100 points on the line but if you are in a higher ability race you can score more points with 2 points per person per rider you beat for Elite and Expert (Cat 1) and SS
1 point per rider for Sport (Cat 2) and Clydes and straight points for Novice (Cat 3)

Team Dirt is leading thanks to Ray Fiori scoring 154 points and taking the win in the 19-44 melting pot of Expert (Cat 1) riders

I hope to see alot of racers looking  for a great time at the most true MTB course in the state with good beer after and maybe one of you will win the Jamis Bicycles Dragon One frame.

Don't forget the Bear Springs Race this weekend. If you are not racing on skinny tires in the Mt. Hood area, there is fat tire fun available. I just got done talking to Erik Tonkin and he said things are looking pretty good out there. Peter and his crew have been doing a lot of work on the course and it will be a good time racing. Make sure to enjoy our first weekend of summer at this very close and fun course!
