Bend Junior / High School Cyclocross Update

Hi everyone, here's a quick update on the high school cross scene for Bend.

Last Sunday was the first High School Series Race in Hood River. There were
68 junior racers total, with 32 high school junior men and women from 7 high
school teams.

There were 9 junior racers from Bend on Sunday:

Cameron Beard, 4th, Boys 13-14;
Keenan Reynolds, 9th, Boys 13-14;
Colin Dunlap, 1st, overall Boys;
Dawson Stallings, 3rd, Boys 15-16;
Mitchell Stevens, 5th, Boys 15-16;
Frankie Virgen, 13th Boys 15-16;
Andy Su, 2nd, Boys 17-18;
Jack Mahler, 3rd, Boys 17-18;
Emma Su, 8th Girls 15-16;

Summit High School is in 2nd place, only three points behind Corvallis
United. There are 4 more races left before the State High School
Championships in Salem on Nov. 20.
