Well said Eric. Our trails are easily damaged when ridden
prematurely and that damage can persist all season.

Horse Ridge is another area to consider for the early season.

The rideability would depend on temperatures and drainage.
Do not ride (no matter how much you paid to stay) when these

This map, when you zoom out, shows other areas outside Bend
that often are ridable in the early season. Maston would be a
spot to consider, as would Smith Rock.��

I'd stay off Phils Trail and the River Trail for the next few weeks. They're soft and riding on them can do some damage.
