The 20th annual Mutual of Enumclaw Stage Race is just around the corner and
registration is starting to fill up. You and your teammates are invited to
the longest running stage race in the Pacific Northwest so sign up now.

behind this event. The local business, community and Enumclaw Police
Department are looking forward to hosting the event. Let us know if you
need host housing because we have some family that are willing to take some
people in for the weekend.

warrior, beginners, women, juniors, and aspiring pros so you can experience

*About the Mutual of Enumclaw Stage Race*
The Mutual of Enumclaw stage race is located in Enumclaw WA approximately
45 miles southeast of Seattle and is the “Gatway” to the north entrances to
Mt. Rainier National Park. The event was started 20 years ago to promote
cycling and benefit the Washington State Special Olympics. The event has
become the longest running stage race in Washington and draws regional
participation from Canada, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, California, and
Washington. The race features 3 stages in 2 day and boosts a combined
prize list of more than $10,000 in cash.
*Past Highlights*
Svien Tuft won the event is 2007 and 2005 and has placed in the top 3
multiple times. Nutra-Fig Ronnie Schmeer won the overall in 1999. In 2000
local rider Russell Stevenson with the help of his teammate Tyler Farrar
from Saturn of Belleview beat defending champion Ronnie Schmeer, Alex
Gardner and Svein Tuft. In 2009 Will Routley from Jelly Belly won the race
while other greats like Thomas Peterson and Logan Owen attended the event
before turning pro. Jade Wilcoxson, used Mutual of Enumclaw to launch her
professional racing carrier by winning the Cat 1/2 women’s race at Enumclaw
and was given the opportunity to race at the Nature Valley Grand Prix.
