Cheers to Jim Sunderland who fought through cancer throughout almost all of 2011 - chemo, surgery, the works. He even had to have big chunks of his liver removed as part of his treatment.
Jim was declared free of cancer in February and has been working very hard to get back into shape since then. It's thrilling to see him race CX... especially because I can remember how much effort it took him to simply pedal a bike just six months ago.
No sandbagging here: two successful races and an upgrade. Congratulations, Jim. Way to bring your A-Game!
