That was a hard ride, and I bet it was the best road conditions that race has ever enjoyed. Special thanks to the wind for making me have to pedal hard in order to keep moving on the downhills. I'm thinking that was something like my parents daily walk to school as kids.

It's a mass start and it's chip timed. But no OBRA license is required and it doesn't count towards any OBRA series points. It's more of a gran fondo type of ride: so it can either be a race or a fun ride, depending on your attitude and the amount of time you spend at the aid stations.
