I think keep the sprints every 5 laps to keep the racing moving and interesting, but maybe use the 20 points gained/lost for gaining/losing a lap. I also think keep the double in the middle for the same reason.

I know it is a hybrid.

Then if we wanted for districts or AVC we could follow the every 10 laps sprint rule so that our bigger races would follow the USAC rules.

If you need someone to propose that rule, please consider this email that proposal, but I am of course alway open to suggestions from people more reasonable than I.
