Nerdy OBRA -ites

We recently sent out some samples for electron microscopy of our carbon
fibers from the Ruckus Composites lab and just got the images back
yesterday. The photos are presented with different levels of magnifications
and pretty interesting if you ever wondered what carbon fiber from a
bicycle looks like

A little info. Our carbon fibers are a special repair blend that we import
from Sweden and they use a randomized binder system. On the heavily
magnified scaled it look's a little goobery but it allows us to lay our
carbon fiber flatter than normal carbon fiber plys. This increases the
strength and safety without building up thickness or weight.

If you have any other nerdy/sciency questions feel free to ask!
