With a heavy heart I must report that Alex Newport-Berra took a massive fall while running/peak bagging in the mountains outside Silverton, Colorado.
He died on Sunday, July 20th, 2014. Probably before Noon.
A mother and father lost their son. A brother and sister lost their brother. And so many countless other who have met, or had yet to meet Alex, have lost a loving and infectiously enthusiastic companion.
No exact details on the memorial service yet, but I will pass that info into the OBRA CHAT forum when I know details.
