Dear OBRA Members,

There has been some confusion regarding this Sunday's Volkswagen Stumptown Criterium. It is a USA Cycling sanctioned event as the event was a partnership with USA Cycling, Volkswagen and Major League Soccer. Breakaway Promotions and USA Cycling understand that buying an annual license for a single event may be cost prohibitive so we have made a special arrangement so that those competitors who race in the Women's Race, Masters 35+, and CAT 3,4,5 races can buy a temporary license just for the day. In addition Breakaway Promotions will cover $10 of the $15 temporary license fee for anyone who registers online before Thursday. That means you pay only $5 for your temporary license to be able to race for one of the largest crit prize purses in the Northwest this year in front a tons of screaming fans. Temporary license can be purchased online. Each competitor that pre registered by Thursday and purchases a temp license will be given $10 cash back when they sign in on race day. Of c
ourse you can still buy an annual license as well and race all over the Northwest which is pretty cool.
