I owe the 4/5 group last night an apology. I caused the collision that took a rider down. Coming around the far corner I saw I had room on the inside. From that angle and the light it looked clear. When I came out of the shadow of the wall and was accelerating I realized my mistake. It was not black top I was looking at, but the out of bounds as it curves out at that particular area. Once off the track, I moved to get back on the track (my second mistake) and knocked into the rider on the inside lane causing him to fall. I race enough at PIR to be familiar with that turn. There is no excuse for my action. No words can describe how bad I feel. The rider I knocked down was a true gentlemen. I will make it up to him as best I can.
