Last week of the Tesegrity Short Track Series and it has been both a success and a blast! We have had great turn-out and awesome feedback from all the racers and we will be back next year with more fun and exciting racing for the Eugene area.

But, this series is not over yet, there is a lot of racers really close together, who will take the series overall in each category?

Cat 2 men seems to have a clear leader, as long as Pat shows up! 2nd 4th is close, and 5th place Alan Ott could pass them all if they stay home.. The other riders in the category area ll close as well and the places could easily shift depending on tonights results!

Cat 3 mens Greg Shepherd is way out in front, though 2nd 10th are all super close together and anything can happen, who will challenge and who will falter.

Junior Boys 10-14s max Ritzow is a clear cut winner, watch out for him in Cross this season, he is rapidly becoming a super star! Rowan is in 2nd and as long as he races he should hold that, but if he falters tonight then there are a number of other juniors looking to take over his spot on the podium.

Single Speed With Taylor being sick last week Spencer jumped into the lead, who will race tonight? Does Spencer have the legs and the luck to hold onto the overall win? Will Brian show up and put them both in their places? Its on tonight, one gear one speed, push it!

Cat 2 Women has been a good series, Julia Fudge is in the lead with 40 points, she has been consistent and strong throughout. Katy and Deb have been there for 2 races and have a 1st and 2nd to their credits, will all 3 show tonight? Lets see who comes out on top? If Deb can pull out the win, and Katy gets 3rd then it will be a tie on points and down to placings, Julia needs to race and finish, better go over that bike.

In the Cat 3 Women field we have Danielle Curran just 4 points in front of Virginia Xing, who will come out on top here? Virginia has been training hard and looking for the win, does she have it in her legs?

Elite Men has been fast and furious the past few weeks, Ethen Stehley set a blistering pace last week from the start, then Ryan took it over, with Adam coming out of no where for the win. Right now Adam is tied for first with Brent Mattison, I am in 3rd and Ryan in 4th, who is racing tonight? Who will take the win? Can Adam do it on a fat bike?

The racing has been super fun, the course has been a blast, in fact we got so much good feed back on both courses that tonights course has yet to be decided, it is going to come down to a flip of the coin when we start setting up, or a small bribe.

Awards party tonight at Tacovore, must be present to get the best prizes. It is also our local Mountain Bike Clubs Pints for a Cause night, for every beer or margarita you purchase money gets put back into the DOD for trail advocacy, its a great cause, and a great group, come out and support the trails, mountain biking and hang out and get some cool prizes and swag.
