A Few Reminders For Cross

LOL, this is sarcasm, yes? Sounds like playing too much defense and not
enough offense, if not. Push harder on the pedals, I'd say!

Peace, love, and cyclocross,

I am referring to any incident where you as the racer feel you need to speak with an official.

If someone is about to pass you on an open straightaway, it seems to be pretty effective to swerve towards them and squeeze them off the course. Don't even have to make contact.

Could that be sudden stopping, name calling, bumping, (I was knocked off
my bike twice last Alpenrose) going too slow or are you talking about beer

As for getting knocked off last year, I didn't like it but I also knew I
signed up for a cyclocross race with 200 riders on a 2 mile course and
some contact might occur. For that reason, I didn't bother complaining.
That being said, lets try to make this 'cross season or any season for
that matter as safe as we can without getting too silly.

Let me add more.
1. Most of our venues restrict alcohol. Please respect those rules. We lose more venues because of public urination and alcohol abuse.
2. There are 3 different sets of numbers out there, remember what race you are at and put the correct one on.
3. Some categories repeat number series, if you race in multiple categories you need multiple numbers.
4. The minimum age for juniors is 10. Please do not register your 8-9 year old in the junior field
5. Have fun, bring a newbie to the next race

With cross season upon us it might be time for a few reminders.

1. You are issued two numbers for the season are expected to wear them at every race.
2. If you are involved in a situation on course that involves another racer or spectator you need to report it IMMEDIATELY....
3. The pit is not a storage place for extra wheels and bikes, DO NOT DROP OFF your stuff more than one race in advance
