Hi Everyone!

With the cross season rapidly approaching we wanted to let you know about
the first race in the 2014 WSBA Cyclocross Series. The Brad LewisMemorial
Cyclocross Race will take place September 14th at Swan Creek Park in
Tacoma. The race commemorates team member Brad Lewis who tragically passed
away from cardiac arrest while racing in 2006. Every year since, the
Recycled Cycles Racing Team has produced a race to honor Brad; with the
goal of helping others "B. Rad, and ride your bike." Up to this year this
has been via the Boat Street Crit, but due to road conditions along Boat
Street, we didn't feel it was safe to continue that race. Instead, we're
moving to the mud.

There will be something for everyone, including an all-comers Single Speed
event with no USAC license or one-day license necessary for participation
(day-of registration only). We will also being providing equal pay-out for
the elite Men's and Women's races.

Please note this race is in Tacoma, the morning after Starcrossed--a
perfect stopping point for your ride back home to OBRA territory. Please
consider getting a hotel in the City of Destiny and joining us for the
first of hopefully many cross races at Swan Creek Park.
