you thought by the third date you knew what you were getting into, then boom- the polite reminder of warm rain... that yearly hint that 40deg rain isn't too far away. all bets are off. tire pressure becomes an even hotter topic. folks who can turn corners start clawing their way up the results. clear lens glasses litter the course. the B line onto the back of the velodrome starts to look like a good idea...

REAL cross season starts!

the castelli team competition and series points (http://obra.org/events/22296/results) are up to date, and it's still anyone's game.
keep in mind, the series winners of the A mens and A womens fields will both win a set of HiFi alloy cx racing wheels courtesy of http://horacekdental.com/, to your specifications- tubie/clincher, disc/rim brake. there is a lot on the line at this date, no doubt.

once again, we'll have coffee primes and cold brew from stumptown, neutral support from 21st ave, the speedvagen kids race, and the vegan caterer will be serving up a rockin' dinner. chili this week. sooo goood.

i'm *hoping* to be able to have a bike wash... i think the new course layout has proper drainage and access. please don't hate me forever if it doesn't work out.
