Psyco Cross this Weekend

Mike and Craig are right on this one. This is a super fun course that will help with your schooling and pretty much prepare you for whatever other courses throw at you (except for long climbs). If you have not done this venue, I urge you to give it a go. Sal has a way of making it fast, fun and being a Singlespeeder....he knows how to enhance your momentum options should you choose to be brave enough to RIDE FAST. If you don’t do Saturday’s because of Heiser (also a super fun and family friendly course) and can find a way down Sunday, it will just put you in better racing condition for the opening of the Crusade the following weekend.
The access to Camp Barlow is so very easy. You get off before going into Eugene (Coburg exit) . Maybe 4-5 minutes off the Freeway.

I second this. I've been going to Psycho for several years now and it's a great venue, a fun course, and there's no need for that pesky callup in order to place where you deserve. I like this race a lot and encourage everyone to support it. If I weren't out of state this weekend I'd definitely be there, and I will make it the rest of the PsychoCross pseries.

I want to encourage all you crosser's to head on down to Camp Harlow in Eugene this weekend for some fantastic racing at Psycho Cross. Sal works extremely hard to put these races on but it has been tough to draw the Portland crowd down here when there is competition with great races practically in their backyard. This Sunday is the first time there is not a race in the Portland area on a weekend day for a while. It would be great to see you all come down to Eugene and support Sal and all he has done for the sport of bike racing in Oregon for many years. By the way, there is also a Pyscho Cross race at Camp Harlow on Saturday. Come on down and make a weekend of it. Take the opportunity to visit some of the finest local breweries in Oregon, with Hop Valley, Ninkasi, Falling Sky, and Oakshire all within walking distance in the Whiteaker neighborhood. Heck, I might even race.
