Hey folks,
Yes, I was out cold after my crash at Blind Date on Wednesday night. Hit hard, not sure what happened but thankful that there were many folks who stopped and attended to me. It was scary waking up like that. Nate McKeweon, Jon Vinson and Quinn Jackson are the three folks that I know stopped and attended to me, if there were others, thank you. I race to have fun, have an excuse to exercise in the dirt. I think Blind Date and all the other series make it possible to have good time, and be safe. Thanks Candi and Steve of OBRA and Joe and Tom from Blind Date for checking in with me, that was very nice of you. It's up to the riders to be cautious and courteous on the course to keep things safe. I've got a pretty good road rash on my knee and shoulder and a whopper of a concussion that's got me still a little woozy. That being said, OHSU kept me overnight, checked me out and said I was good to go, well no exercise or monkey business for a a least a couple days. I plan on making it back for
Cross Crusades #1 and #2, face my demons if they'll allow. Thanks to everyone for their concerns and kind thoughts. Let's keep on having a good time and keep it upright OK? We hope to see you folks out there soon!
