We Need Your Team For Kid's 'Cross Crusade Clinics!

We will be featuring a 30-minute Quick Clinic at every Kid's 'Cross race at the Cross Crusade this season! We need volunteers from local and regional teams to sign up for a race. It's probably the most fun you're gonna have this season and you'll probably gain a couple of short but rabid fans out of it! Minimum of 4 volunteers from your team to show kids 2-9 years old the basics.

Clinics will run 11:30am - 12:00pm. All ages.
Skill 1: Cornering (looking through)
Skill 2: Dismounting (getting off before the barriers)
Skill3: Barriers (this is going to be interesting...)
Skill 4: Remounting (slide your leg over the top)

The plan is to set the course in a way that kids will have a slowing (tight) corner just before the barriers so that walking through each skill with them will be pretty seamless. Keep it moving forward.

We will break into smaller groups with an adult or two demonstrating the skill and kids attempting it a few at a time. Depends on how many there are. Give a little feedback and move your group to the next skill. Then the next group goes.

They will have time after their races to practice and we'll host it again the next weekend too. Same skills, same program to get it dialed.

>>>Thanks to Trusty Switchblade for being the first team to step up!<<<

Speedvagen Family Racing will be out there too.

Which event does your team want to host?

Best,
Tom
