Problem here is Erik in a way deserved his call up by his results prior to this race this year. This other person has no previous noteworthy results in this catergory this year or last. May have in others and that's fine and well deserving but this just feeds their ego and steps on the others that may possibly deserve it that have decent results. That "show casing" is a BS cop out. But alas, all I'm doing here is bringing light to a certain situation.
