Hi Everyone,

Well, Barton is in the books and it did not disappoint. The sky was blue,
the air was cold, the wind was blowing, and each successive lap of the race
got harder and harder as the race wore on. There are still a few more CX
races left in the season before the 2014 calendar is closed, so if you still
have the legs, I would encourage everyone to attend those races as they are
some great venues and even cooler promoters who would love to see you there.

As for the Pixie Project raffle drawing that has been running at the Sage
Cycles and Cross Crusade tents this season, there will be one final chance
to purchase tickets for the raffle this coming Saturday from 6-7:15pm at the
Cross Crusade awards party. I will be stationed at the entrance to the party
and happy to answer any questions you might have. The drawing will be held
at approximately 7:30pm and once the winning ticket is drawn, I will be
contacting the winner either by phone and/ or email.

As of the Barton race, we have raised $1600! That is really amazing and I
want to say Thank You to everyone who has entered the raffle so far. All of
the money collected so far has been donated to the Pixie Project in Portland
and they are VERY appreciative of all that we have done. This really is a
good cause that is close to many of us, so again, Thank You for contributing
to the raffle and best of luck to everyone who has entered (and will enter
on Saturday night) into the drawing.
