While I don't mind the "I am here" tap (which does serve well to keep all of us safe) that definitely was a bit more forceful.  However, I appreciate the sentiment and you putting yourself out there.

I am putting myself in the OBRA Chat stockade for a public shaming because I acted like an ass about 2 minutes into the 1/2/3 race. 

To the Half Fast Velo racer who rightfully objected when my "I'm here" tap became a clumsy shove on your left hip, my profanity-laced reply (actually, I believe it was all profanity) was totally out of line. I was actually the dickhead.
