Spot fixie, with Gates Belt-Drive

This is a Spot-brand fixie bike that I purchased about three years ago. It's only been ridden once or twice, as I found I'm not into the fixed gear.

Just after I purchased it, I had it powder coated black so as to be less conspicuous when locked up around town. Bike includes front & rear brakes, Freedom ThickSlick tires, and platform pedals. The seat tube length (c-c) is 58cm. I'm 6'2" and the bike fits me well.

The greatest part about this bike is its Gates belt-drive. If you're not familiar with the Gates belt-drive, you can Google for the full run down. But briefly, it uses a belt instead of a bike chain. The benefits to this are zero maintenance, extremely long-term wear as the belt is made of carbon fibers, and perfect performance in the rain & weather. Perfect for Portland!

The bike retailed for around $1000. I'm selling this for $500 as the belt-drive is worth every penny.
