Hey ladies! (and everyone else who came out and supported the Northwest Women's Racing Summit this weekend) - I just want to say thank you for making this such an excellent weekend of celebrating women on bikes! We had a great turn out at the Eco Trust for our Lady's social mixer - Thank you to Showers Pass for being there and all of the help from Portland Bicycle Studio, Endurance PT and all others who extended a helping hand. We were especially lucky to have a representative from the BTA there telling us about their new women's initiative within the community, which was great!

Secondly, announcement for the first OWPS race of the season! Thanks to donations from the Wenzel Coaching bike clinic and Castelli Cycling at the events from the NW Women's Summit, we are able to offer the following fields an increased prize purse:

Cat 1/2: 1st-3rd place $$

Cat 3: 1st-3rd place $$

Cat 4: 1-3 place: Castelli Merch.

The only catch is that in order to qualify for these OWPS prizes, you have to race AT LEAST 2 races of the series. All prize monies will be MAILED after you complete your 2nd race of the series. If you don't end up completing a 2nd race, that money will go back into the prize pot.
