Riverview Natural Area

OBRA - I recall mention of studies done on the Riverview Natural Area that
indicated the impact of off-road cyclists was less than hikers and
dogwalkers, anyone have a link for those studies? I have a friend in
Washington that would like to build a case to open up more trails around
them.

thanks,

Just a heads up to PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL if you attend this. Personally I think the fact it is taking place shows off road riders have their attention....and we have done it in proper fashion. Remember this committee is the one I believe Fish and Fritz left out of bike ban process! I may be wrong, but pretty sure about this. I am not aware of a “public input” time on the meeting schedule. A group of polite but very interested citizens might be positive and support this Advisory Committee. My note is NOT an official statement from NWTA mind you.
Thanks all and enjoy the ride today. Watch out for wandering Easter Eggs if riding around off the pavement!

Looks like the city is resuming the planning process for Riverview Natural Area
http://www.portlandoregon.gov/parks/article/524926
The below page states Wed April 8th and then in the April 2015 section has an error stating Wed March 8th.

Seems like a good occasion to show up at the public meeting and make our voices heard.
Wednesday April 8th 5:30 - 8:00, Watershed Community Room, 6388 SW Capital Hwy.

I would also refer everyone to page 3 of this document, as well as the trail map below that:
