Barton Park Circuit Race Notes

Hi All,
Questions, questions and more questions.
I'll try to get them answered in this email.

Lap counts. The lap count on the flyer is full laps so the stated number of laps for each field is correct. The total mileage will actually be about 3 miles longer than the flyer states (unlike many races where the actual mileage is shorter than stated).

Primes for the elite fields:
Your $50.00 primes will come on:
Men 1/2: lap 2, 4, 6 & 8. That means after you've crossed the finish line the first time, lap count starts. The first time you cross it isn't a full lap.
Women's 1/2/3: laps 2, 4 & 6. Ditto what I just said for the men's 1/2 field. Once you cross the finish line the first time, your lap counts start.

Where's the finish line:
The finish line is located after the climb. Sorry if the map link on the flyer doesn't make it look like that. Once you're over the climb you've got about .3 to .4 mile (completely flat) to cross the finish line. This can give you time to get back in if you've come off the pace a little or give you time to make your hill attack stick to the finish or your prime.

When does online registration close:
Online registration closes at noon Saturday. Save yourselves some dough and register online.

Restrooms:
There will be four porta potties located where you'll likely warm up. There are also park restrooms that will be open. There are park restroom near the ball field, a short jaunt from Picnic area 1. There are also restrooms a little closer. I'm trying to make sure all those restrooms are open. Please use either the porta potties or the parks restrooms to urinate. This is an excellent venue and we don't want to make anyone made. There's already one unhappy resident located on the course so we sure don't want to upset her any more than she'll already be upset by our mere presences.

Have I missed anyone's questions? Goodness I hope not but if I did, please let me know and I'll try to make sure you get an answer.

Thanks for your support.
Ladies, I hope you are coming out to race. I'd sure like to see a few more of you pre-register.
