SKI LODGE/GOVERNEMENT CAMP, OR

Note of Correction:

In my earlier announcement regarding the upcoming Mt. Hood
Bicycle/Pedestrian Coalition meeting to be held on Saturday; May 16, 2015
at the Cascade Ski Lodge in Government Camp, I included FS Road 18 as one
of the roads being considered for decommissioning. *That is not correct!* I
included FS road 18 for discussion due to the 6 miles of rough, rutted,
unmaintained section of the road between the top of Lolo Pass and Hood
River, OR. It was not my intention to indicate FS road 18 as one of the
roads on the list for decommissioning. Please review Todd’s email below for
further clarification.

My apologies for any miscommunication and/or confusion!

There is no proposal to decommission Lolo Pass Rd., nor will it be
suggested by the Travel Analysis Process. Currently, it is designated in
our database as having a very high access priority rating. There is a fair
amount of mis-information or misinterpretation being communicated. That is
one reason why I plan to attend the Coalition’s meeting to explain about
the Travel Analysis Process, what it is and what it isn’t.

In the meantime, if you would like to learn more about the process, see
