The Capital Stage race in Olympia is coming up, the last weekend in May. There is a separate category for racers 60 and over, with not just separate scoring, but a separate criterium. And, there's more: to encourage "senior" racers, there will be additional prizes, including (but not limited to) a $50 gas card for the 60+ rider who comes the longest distance to the race. In addition to the normal prizes, though, there will be a prize for he who carriers the "lantern rouge" over the line for the crit (meaning last place), as well as random prizes throughout.
So, you don't need to be good to win, you only need to race to win!
