the person killed in the crash was Austin Crenshaw. he was an OBRA rider.
A man was killed Saturday morning while biking down a steep curve in the Columbia River Gorge after he lost control of his bike and crashed into an oncoming car, according to Multnomah County sheriff's office spokesman Lt. Steve Alexander.
The man was bicycling with a group of friends on East Haines Road near its intersection of Larch Mountain Road in the Columbia gorge east of Corbett.
The group was going down hill and around a curve when the man lost control and crossed into the oncoming lane, Alexander said. He died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was cooperating with investigators, Alexander said.
