OBRA Community:

For those that hadn't heard, our good friend Austin Crenshaw died in a
cycling accident on our regular group ride out in the Gorge two weeks ago.
He was the nicest guy around, always fun conversation, a fantastic wheel,
eager and willing to do anything on a bike, and always happy to help those
in need. I've been totally crushed to think that I won't get to spend
Saturdays with him on the bike anymore, and heartbroken when I think of all
of the other people in the Oregon cycling community who will be missing him
in their own way. He was, without exaggeration, the nicest person I've ever
known. You can read more about his impact here on bikeportland.

Austin leaves behind his loving partner of many years, Reagan, and their
puppy Abe. I think we've all been internalizing our loss, but I wanted to
post to OBRA list to let those who want to help know the best way to do so.
They were scheduled to move into their new home together the week of the
accident, and we're trying to help Reagan keep the house while dealing with
the both the emotional and financial strain.

She's asked that the gofundme page not be shared on social media, and
instead only with friends and family, so please respect that. But I think
Austin considered the Oregon cycling community part of an extended family,
and she agreed, so I'm posting it here.

If you'd like to contribute, the gofundme page is here.

Thanks so much.
