Who’s excited for some sand at Het Meer CX at Vancouver Lake Park
tomorrow?! It looks like we are in for a great fall day. We are also super
stoked to have Lars van der Haar (Euro Pro) and Ryan Trebon on the start
list for the Elite race at 3:05pm. This may be a classic battle, including
the local elites. The course will feature flat, fast sections that are all
about pure speed. Oh, and we’ll be on the beach for a long leg. It’s hard
packed and fast, but getting down and back up will be a unique challenge.
Please prepare yourself for warm weather. There will be water feeds allowed
at the pit at the discretion of the officials. We’ll even have an
‘Irrigation Zone’ (sprinklers)!

*REGISTRATION – Online pre-registration for the race closes Friday 9/11 at
5:00pm.

*DAY OF RACE REGISTRATION - Registration opens at 8:00am and closes 15
minutes before each race. Please schedule enough time for registration,
especially if you still have to purchase an OBRA license.

*OBRA Membership - BRING YOUR OBRA MEMBERSHIP CARD! This will be required
to register. If you forget it, you will need to buy a one day license.

*LOCATION - The race will be held in* VANCOUVER, WA at Vancouver Lake Park*.
Check the flier for detailed directions.

*MECHANICAL SUPPORT – ‘*Sellwood** Cycle** Repair’* will be providing free
mechanical support.

*NO ALCOHOL allowed at the city Park. We’ll have all the beer you need at*
NINKROSSI* (Sept. 26th).

*PARKING - There is NO PARKING FEE at the park this year.

*TEAM TENTS - We will have a team tent area designated along the finishing
straight near the pit.

*FOOD – We will have coffee compliments of ‘*Torque** Coffee’*, Waffles and
Snow Cones by vendor* “Three Little Birds”*, and a rice bowl vendor* “The
Mighty Bowl”*.

*CALL UPS – Call-ups will be based on series points (See the GPRM flier for
details).

*NUMBERS – We will be using 2015 OBRA CX numbers. They will be good for all
GPRM races and Cross Crusade races. Bring your 2015 OBRA card for
registration.

*RACING AGE - your racing age is your age on 12/31/2015.

*GPRM – This is the 2nd race in the Grand Prix Rhonda Mazza.

*T-SHIRTS – GPRM t-shirts for sale at the venue. $20 each.

*FUN – Expect to have a blast! See you on* SATURDAY the 12th*.

Prepare for warm weather. We’ll have lots of cold water for you.
