Howdy OBRAland,

While in Asheville racing CX Nationals, I came across a Collegiate Cycling
Fair and discovered that my Alma Mater, The Savannah Collete of Art and
Design (SCAD) recently added a Varsity Cycling program to their list of
competitive athletics programs. As a former participant in the athletics
program at SCAD (Crew 99-02') and someone who benefited greatly from my
experience and education there (Graphic Design/Photography 02'), I couldn't
have been more pleased.

I spoke with the Head Coach, Benjamin Van Winkle, and he's super excited
about the offerings that SCAD has for talented cyclists and triathletes who
want to pursue a world class education while having the opportunity to race
on athletic scholarships. They also will have full range of equipment and
the full support of the athletic department for collegiate racing and
training.

SCAD is a four year, degree awarding, accredited institution boasting over
40 degree programs and more than 70 professional certifications.
Post-graduation employment is at 97% in the students’ area of study and
with professional connections with Disney, Google, Apple, J.Crew,
Lucasfilm, and many more.

Anyways, I thought I'd pass along the word to any of the Jr's out there or
parents or friends of them who might be looking to pursue a career in the
arts and also race collegiately. I'm happy to put you in touch with Coach
Van Winkle and or, answer any questions you might have, just email me.
