Here is my annual plea to get more people to train and work as officials. We have an acute shortage of people available. This shortage is making the current pool of people exhausted.
Our sport needs more officials. This will make the sport safer and help with accurate results. It is a good way to give back and even earn a little extra spending money.
Oh, and by the way. Our administrative rules state:
(iv) Clubs with 5 or over members are required to send one member to officials training per year.
