Looks like the OBRA road race season is well underway!

We wanted to make sure everyone is aware of the date and details of next
month's Desert Orthopedics * Bend Don't
Brake Road Race* which occur over Memorial Day Weekend on Saturday May
28th. Stick around and race your mountain bike Sunday at the Sister's
Stampede.

Many thanks to *Amanda Porino* who single-handedly started and promoted
this race for the last 5 years. TFG Racing
is proud to take over promotion of the
6th edition of this Central Oregon classic.

Highlights:

--Racing occurs on a 9.7 mile flat usually windy loop southeast of town
(categories and distances listed on website).
--Top 3 in each field receives PBR (tradition) and a cool custom Bend Don't
Brake knit hat along with other cool schwag.
--The men's race is the 5th race of the Oregon Cup Series
while the women's race is race #4 of the Women's
Prestige Series .
--While there is no junior only field, any junior can race for free in
their category courtesy of Central Oregon Pediatrics Association

We of course need volunteers to ensure a safe and fun race. You can sign-up

Volunteers
will receive a free race entry for themselves or a loved one, a Pine
Mountain gift certificate, lunch from New York City Sub Shop
and if driving a car for the race a
$10 gas card.
