I just had a person I haven't spoken to in a long time reach out to me to see if I knew anyone looking for a bike. They contacted me because I ride often and know lots of bikers. Everything about the acquisition of this bike screams "I'M STOLEN!" so I'm checking to see if anyone had one turn up missing recently. The person got the bike because "someone owed them a nice chunk of money" and was tired of waiting around for payment.

It's a 2015 specialized diverge a1. It's black/grey with some neon yellow. Aluminum frame, sora group, TRP mechanical discs, and still has the nylon plastic flat pedals that come with bikes. I can't get them to tell me what size it is, or what the serial number is, because they "don't know." Anyways, just hoping that this isn't the worst case of someone getting their bike stolen and handed around before being sold to some unlucky person.
