The Rebound/Tireless Velo team is excited to announce the return of Zaaldercross for a 5th season. Ever since the last racer crossed the line at last year's event we've been working on ways to bring you an even better version(seriously, we think about it all the time). We only put on one race a year and we strive to make it the best possible cross race experience(....the Catalina Wine Mixer of cyclocross!). We are very fortunate to be able to bring you the race once again at Alderbrook Park, which lends itself to awesome course possibilities and a great place to hang with the family and your team. We've been regularly updating the race website zaaldercross.com with lots of new info regarding sponsors , prizes, a new updated course map and video, and more. If you're too busy to check it out or work limits your browsing time, here's the details in a nutshell:
-Sept. 17 at Alderbrook Park
-Once again part of the GP series and race #1 in the Junior Championship series
-Points earned here will cont towards your callup spot at Alpenrose
-Sweet prize list including limited custom Z5 cycling caps from Double Darn here in PDX and cash for elite fields
-The Zaalderaffle will once again be offering a full SRAM CX1 drivetrain, Zipp wheels, and tons more
-As in years past all proceeds will go to help homeless youth in Portland through p:ear
-new updates make it a super fun, flowy, and challenging course you will not want to miss.
