As narrow as you can tolerate. Wide bars can cause safety issues on
overcrowded cx courses, where passing occurs continuously. I raced, once,
with a 700. At the start, someone rammed my bar into the rider on the other
side of me. That rider went down hard. I switched to a narrow flat bar the
next day. I had no more issues.
