Ditto that! We even had a racer wear his Blind Date number at Het Meer...someone wore last year's number, and several people raced with the wrong category number!! Not okay!

I'm glad everyone is having fun and cross is fun there is no doubt! But let's keep it fun for the officials too

Tonight we had a lot of problems with number placement out there, which makes coming up with results take much longer than it should be. We had a lot of people who either had numbers on sideways, upside down, on their back, flapping around because they busted through pins, and so on - which makes our jobs very difficult, especially when we're already dealing with low light (or no light), after working our day jobs all day.

Hey everyone. I just got done sorting through results for the evening.
Tonight we had a lot of problems with number placement out there, which
makes coming up with results take much longer than it should be. We had a
lot of people who either had numbers on sideways, upside down, on their
back, flapping around because they busted through pins, and so on - which
makes our jobs very difficult, especially when we're already dealing with
low light (or no light), after working our day jobs all day.

So please - check your numbers for the next race:
- Make sure they're on the correct side
- Make sure they're right side up
- Make sure that you have enough pins on your numbers, and they're secure
- Make sure long hair is tied out of the way

Don't be That Guy who makes us all scratch our heads wondering if the
number held on by one pin on your back is an 861 or a 687. We're all racers
working at the finish line - we want results out quickly too.
